2008
Due to overwhelming demand for treatment and with an additional donation by Mr. Aubrey Dan, three more hyperbaric chambers were purchased and the Centre expanded to 5,000 square feet.
The name of the facility was changed to the Judy Dan Research & Treatment Centre. With six chambers, up to 240 patients can be treated per year, preventing approximately 180 amputations and saving the health care system $9 million, per year.
2009
Additional research studies with the University of Toronto have commenced. More details to follow soon.
